Impressive condiments

The world's largest catsup bottle is not even an hour from where I live, and surprisingly enough I had not been over to see it until to day (all you people who live by the ocean or mountains, eat your heart out). I was over in Collinsville, Illinois, visiting a friend and going to a vintage postcard sale, where, yes, I spent too much (I'll share some photos later).

A few bonus pictures from my trip: a monkey sign, and a still life with dust and candles from my friend's house.

"big things" are so strangely fascinating. I've never quite figured out why. Maybe it's the absurdity of it all that makes them enjoyable. I have a book of 'big things in Australia' & for a small country we have a surprising number of big things. If they collapse all at once we're in BIG trouble ;D

Well there isn't enough catsup in that bottle for me! I have the reputation for dousing everything with catsup and lots of it. One restautant I frequent regularly hides it when they see me walk in.
Why are we fascinated with the super sized? How can you live so close to a monument like that and not have visited it sooner??? I'd have been climbing all over it :)

I know, I should have gotten there sooner. My son is such a catsup nut he eats it everything (even salmon). We call it simply "the elixir."

Cool! My kids would love to see that. :)

HA! that's nuts.
on the highway from Cincinnati to Dayton, Ohio, there is a GIANT Jesus. It's only half of him - like he's rising out of the ground.
GIGANTIC!!! We pulled over to the side of the road and took pics which then did not turn out.
:0(
We say to each other, remember the day we saw Big Jesus?
:0)
I promise you I am not a religious nut.
